Fall TV Watch List

I am so glad it's fall! I had nothing to watch this summer and no real interest or drive to start anything new. Below is my list of returning and new shows I plan to watch this coming season!

Returning:

• This is Us (NBC)...September 25th

• Outlander (STARZ)...November 4th

• Supergirl (CW)...October 14th

• The Gifted (Fox)...September 25th

• The Orville (Fox)...December 30th

• This show was only a half a season last year which is probably why it premieres so late this season. If you don't already watch this comedy SciFi Star Trekish show, you need to! Its hilarious and sometimes thought provoking (check out the episode where they arrive on a planet where the people are judged based off up and down votes). Overall, just a really enjoyable ride.

• Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo)...November 7th

• This show is my ultimate guilty pleasure and has been since it first premiered when I was in middle school! Anyone that judges you for loving Real Housewives is boring and doesn't know how to have fun. Find new friends.

New Shows:

• Titans (DC Universe)...October 12th

• I'm a wee bit bitter I'll have to pay for the DC streaming service to watch this BUT I hear that the service also gives you access to all of the comics so that is a plus. This show is getting a lot of hate thrown at it because of leaked photos of costumes and the casting of black actress Anna Diop as Starfire (she's an alien character, people.) However to me, Titans is my most anticipated new show of the season because 1) I love superheroes 2) It's seems edgy and fun 3) I think Robin looks awesome and I can't wait to see him in action (heres hoping Batgirl is brought in for a potential season 2) and 4) In this Marvel world, it is nice to have some DC content too.

• The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix)...October 26th

• I am hoping this show will fill my Stranger Things void since I have heard no word on the season 3 premiere date. This dark twist on the more lighthearted sitcom version looks like it could be a good binge!

• A Million Little Things (ABC)...September 26th

• This new series is about a group of friends who all start to revaluate their lives after one of their close friends dies. It seems very This Is Us-esq, which means that you'll need a box of tissues handy.

Shows I'll DVR & Check Out Later:

• Single Parents (ABC)...September 26

• The Rookie (ABC)...October 16th

• ​My mom loves Nathan Fillion so I am sure we will be watching this new comedy together.

• Charmed (CW)...October 14th

One of my favorite shows, Agents of Shield, usually has a normal season run. But this year it's only renewed for a 12 episode summer 2019 season which is incredibly disappointing. I have heard no news on when (normally fall premiering) seasons of The Crown or Stranger Things are coming to Netflix.

There are new shows coming to Hulu and Amazon or whatever other streaming services are out there that I would be interested in watching but, I only have cable and Netflix so I can't watch those. Are there too many streaming services or are there too many streaming services?!
