Hi, I'm Laura. I'm a recent college graduate with an English Major and a Minor in Writing and Communication as well as History. I started this website to not only showcase some of my own writing, but as a fun way to share my own thoughts on entertainment, fashion, and lifestyle. I have always thought about starting a website\blog and now I am finally doing it. 

 

My favorite shows (currently on air) include Game of Thrones, The Crown, Stranger Things, Agents of Shield, and Outlander. I am well versed in the worlds of Marvel, Star Wars, and DC and my dream vacation is to go to San Diego comic con. I just recently got back into reading for fun (instead of the reading workload an English major has) and I'll gladly take any reading recommendations you have. If you're asking what book has changed my life and expect to get something "classic" from Dickens, Twain, or Woolf, then prepare to be underwhelmed...that honor goes to Harry Potter (my favorites being Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Pheonix). But, Perks of Being a Wallflower and Matilda take a close second and third. 

 

Fashion has always been a big part of my life, but I wasn't always "fashionable". I more so say I always had a "style". Was it always good looking? No, but I always had fun with it and that's what I think true style is; being adventurous and comfortable in your own skin. I find shopping to be therapeutic (sometimes this causes problems for me and my wee old bank account) and I have been a personal shopper for friends and family before. I love searching for clothes, it doesn't matter if it's for me or someone else! Finding something you, or they, will feel good in is such a reward.
