Recap: Game of Thrones Finale

*Spoilers Below*

What a crazy episode! So without any introduction, let's just get into it.

Five Best Moments:

1.) Theon! My baby Theon finally got some peace. He needed to hear someone telling him that he could be both a Stark and a Greyjoy. He does not have to choose. I cried during his scenes. I understood, earlier in the season, why he jumped ship and I hated seeing people make fun of him. I knew he would find it in him to save Yara. He has done horrible things but he still has time to repent for his sins. He's one of the most complex characters in the series.

2.) The Wall coming down! That and the shot of King's Landing being snowed on were some of the best of the season. The falling snow over the map room, the dragon pit, etc. was so haunting and beautiful. The Wight Dragon and the rest of the White Walker army, hyped me up for next season.

3.) Cersei and Tyrion. Any scene between Lena Heady and Peter Dinklage is a good scene. Some of the best actors on the show and really good dialogue from them in this moment.

4.) Starks coming together made me cry. I wish we had more scenes of them being siblings this season.

5.) The Hound and Brienne talking about arya :). I love these two characters and how they care for the Stark children. Can't wait for their reunions next season!

Bonus- Jamie finally leaves Cersei!!!

Five Worst Moments:

1.) R+ L=J Cringey reveal. Having Jon and Dany have sex while Bran's voice speaks over it about Rhaegar and Lyanna's wedding, confirming that Dany is Jon's aunt was just cringe worthy. I am trash for Jon and Dany, its true, but I wish they had done that in a different way. Maybe the Bran flashback and then the scene where Jon visits Dany, having them overlap cheapened both moments IMO.

2.) Winterhell plot is over thank God but the Sansa and Arya love without Bran is just wack. I've seen so many posts of people praising Arya and Sansa for getting the best of Littlefinger with no mention of Bran, who they couldn't have done it without. Put some respect on his name, fake Stark fans. There was a deleted scene of Sansa going to Bran for help, but for some reason the cut it. The writers favor Sansa so i'm sure it was to make Sansa look super smart, that she figured it out on her own. Also, he should have been included in the final Stark scene. We deserve a scene of all the Stark kids talking about Ned and the coming winter.

3.) Rhaegar is just Viserys 2.0!! WTF! I also desperately wanted a flashback to the Tourney of Harrenhal and for that to be our first glimpse of Rhaegar. But, alas, we got a quick wedding scene shot over a sex scene instead.

4.) Cockless Army \ Dwarf jokes. They really dedicated time in the beginning of the episode to make weird jokes about the Unsullied army not having cocks? There wasn't anything more important to talk about? Also, Euron's jokes to Tyrion about being a dwarf and how they would have left him to die is just old. If I was Peter Dinklage, i'd be sick of it. Time needs to be dedicated to more important conversations.

5.) Ghost. We really went a whole season without seeing Ghost.
